This year’s tournament promises to build upon the overwhelming success of its inaugural edition. With a $200,000 prize fund and a 256-player field, including 128 of the world’s top professionals, the Mansion Sport Hanoi Open is set to be one of the marquee events of the 2024 pool calendar.

Jayson Shaw, the defending champion, will return to Hanoi to defend his title, joined by a stellar lineup including local heroes Duong Quoc Hoang and Nguyễn Anh Tuấn, and Asian superstars like Ko Pin Yi, Aloysius Yapp, Michael Feliciano, Carlo Biado, and Ko Ping Chung. The tournament not only offers high-stakes competition but also serves as the third automatic qualifying event for this year’s Mosconi Cup.

Jayson Shaw shared his excitement about returning: “Coming back to Hanoi as the defending champion is a true honour. Last year’s event was nothing short of spectacular, and I’m thrilled to see the ‘Hanoi Hype’ once again in full force. Competing in front of such a passionate crowd is something every player looks forward to, and I’m eager to showcase my best once more.”
