Participants outside the World Nineball Tour (WNT) 128 professional players can earn their spot in Matchroom Major Open events through an official WNT Qualifier, starting with May’s UK Open Pool Championship.
Qualifiers will be open to all aged 16 and over, with players able to compete in as many official qualifier events as they choose up until qualification for an event, giving them the maximum amount of opportunities to enter. Once qualified for an Open event, players will be unable to enter any additional qualifiers for the same Open event.
The UK Open Pool Championship, taking place at Telford International Centre, Telford, United Kingdom between May 7-12, will be the first Major Open event to utilise the new qualification system.
With 12 Qualifier events already confirmed for the UK Open Pool Championship, players should directly contact the event organisers below for entry information.
Qualifiers will be held for each Major Open event in various regions across the globe, offering local talent and prospective international players the chance to earn their place amongst the elite field.
There will be no paid open spots at any of the Matchroom Major Open events.

Spectator Ticket Details
Tickets are on sale now for the UK Open Pool Championship at Telford International Centre between Tuesday, 7 May and Sunday, 12 May. Nineball fans can see the top-128 professionals in action, including home favourite ‘Eagle Eye’ Jayson Shaw, recent Mosconi Cup MVP Joshua ‘Killer’ Filler and the World Champion and WNT #1 ‘El Ferrari’ Francisco Sanchez Ruiz.
Tickets start from £20 a day, with season passes available from £125 to enjoy all six days of action, as well as a weekend pass for fans to take in the final two days for just £50.
