EVENT GUIDE | 2026 ROOBET EUROPEAN OPEN POOL CHAMPIONSHIP

Europe’s premier professional pool tournament returns for its fifth and biggest edition yet. The Roobet European Open Pool Championship heads back to the heart of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, at Hotel Hills Sarajevo from 10–15 March 2026.

Featuring a world-class venue, a $225,000 prize fund, and over 60 hours of live coverage, the European Open promises six action-packed days of nine-ball drama as the sport’s biggest stars battle for glory in this World Nineball Tour Matchroom Major.

PLAYERS
A stacked 256-player field will descend on Sarajevo, featuring the top 128 professionals from the World Nineball Tour, alongside wildcard contenders from around the world. Defending champion Joshua Filler returns following his landmark 2025 European Open victory, aiming to secure back-to-back titles.

FORMAT
The European Open begins with a double-elimination stage, which continues until the field is reduced to 128 players.

From that point, the tournament transitions into a single-elimination knockout bracket. With an additional knockout round introduced for 2026, fans can expect even more high-stakes matches and thrilling encounters as the tournament progresses toward the final.

PRIZE FUND
The 2026 Roobet European Open Pool Championship features a total prize fund of $225,000, with the champion taking home $40,000.
