This year will see 256 of the world’s elite players converge on Texas to compete in the 49th edition of the US Open Pool Championship, continuing a legacy that has defined champions and shaped the game for nearly five decades.

Last year’s tournament featured a truly global field, with players representing  more than 50 nations, including  94 American competitors, underlining the US Open’s status as one of the most internationally diverse and competitive events in the sport.

The move to Frisco signals an exciting new era, with players battling for a $500,000 prize fund, reaffirming the US Open’s reputation as one of the most competitive and star-studded tournaments on the World Nineball Tour.

World Number One and former US Open champion Fedor Gorst said: “The US Open is the tournament every player wants to win — the history, the pressure, the level of competition, it’s unmatched. This prestigious event brings the world’s best players to Sports City USA, and we’re proud to host a competition with such rich history, intensity, and global appeal.
