Tobias Bongers found his first taste of success on the tour, after snapping off the 2026 Cuetec Belgian Open, after defeating Felix Vogel in the final to pick up his maiden WNT ranking event title.

The German has risen through the rankings over the past few years, reaching two WNT Major quarter-finals at the 2024 UK Open and 2025 European Open. In Sarajevo, the German claimed his biggest victory, downing former World Champion Francisco Sanchez Ruiz.
