Woodward has been a stalwart representative for the United States, featuring in every Mosconi Cup since 2015. In 2024, he took on a new role as Team USA Captain for the first time—a testament to his leadership and experience. His standout performances in the 2018 and 2019 editions earned him back-to-back Most Valuable Player honours, highlighting both his world-class skill and his vital role in Team USA’s success.

Last year, Woodward added another title to his résumé, claiming victory at the Pennsylvania Open with a hard-fought win over Spain’s Jonas Souto.
