Mickey Krause is one of the emerging talents in mainland Europe’s pool scene. Last year, he experienced a meteoric rise in the rankings, climbing from 63rd before the UK Open to 15th after securing his first World Nineball Tour (WNT) title at the 2024 European Open Championship.

In 2025, Krause has continued his impressive ascent, capturing another title with victory at the Scottish Open and reaching the semi-finals of the UK Open Pool Championship. These results have propelled him into the top 10 of the WNT rankings for the first time in his career.

The young Dane’s European Open triumph marked a breakthrough moment, adding a major trophy to his growing résumé and earning him a place on Team Europe at both the 2024 Reyes Cup and Mosconi Cup.
