Ko Ping Chung first made noise on the scene in 2010 when he reached the final of the All Japan Championship. ‘Little Ko’ has proven to be a formidable cueist over the years, with his greatest success coming at the 2023 US Open. After an historic semi-final victory over Aloysius Yapp, potting all 99 balls, he would defeat Fedor Gorst to capture the historic green jacket.
He made further history in his home country, becoming the first player to win the Chinese Taipei Open in November, and the Sharks International 9-ball Open in 2023.
Away from the World Nineball Tour, he has tasted other cue-sport success in lifting the World 10-ball title.
