After an historic semi-final victory over Aloysius Yapp, potting all 99 balls, he would defeat Fedor Gorst to capture the historic green jacket.

He made further history in his home country, becoming the first player to win the Chinese Taipei Open in November, and the Sharks International 9-ball Open in 2023.

Away from the World Nineball Tour, he has tasted other cue-sport success in lifting the World 10-ball title.
