His stellar year also saw him reach the final of the UK Open Pool Championship, further propelling him up the WNT rankings and cementing his reputation as one of the sport’s most exciting rising stars.

A serious contender in recent years, Souto also secured a 3rd-place finish at the FSR Nineball Open in 2024, reached the Last 16 of the 2022 European Open, and made a commendable Last 32 run at the 2024 World Pool Championship.
