Aloysius Yapp finally captured his first Matchroom Major title with a commanding performance at the 2025 UK Open Pool Championship, overpowering Jonas Souto 13-1 to claim the British crown.

Yapp made history last year, not only becoming the first Asian player to qualify for the Reyes Cup, but also going on to claim the first-ever Reyes Cup MVP award, solidifying his place as one of the sport’s top stars.

His first success on the World Nineball Tour came impressively through consecutive Ranking Event titles, with a victory at Wolf’s Den Billiard Club before claiming the coveted International Open, a title he successfully defended at the end of last year.
