Entries are now open for two landmark tournaments on the 2025 Junior Open calendar – the Florida Junior Open, set to take place from August 8–9 at the Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando, Florida, and the return of the SVB Junior Open, staged alongside the US Open Pool Championship at Harrah’s Resort in Atlantic City, New Jersey, from August 21–22.
Each Junior Open will feature 32 of the best young players aged 17 and under, competing in a double elimination format for a share of a $10,000 prize fund per event. Winners will take home $2,500 and a custom Onboard Sportswear jersey, with entry set at $100, fully refunded upon participation.
The Junior Open finals will be broadcast live on WNT TV, with additional featured coverage during the main event TV broadcasts to global audiences.
Building on the success of recent Junior Open graduates like AJ Manas – who earned his World Nineball Tour pro status following a standout win in Vietnam – Matchroom continues its mission to grow the future stars of the sport. With the Mosconi Cup audience increasing year on year, the need to uncover and nurture the next wave of champions has never been greater.
All junior competitors will receive four complimentary tickets for Day 1 of their corresponding main event – either the Florida Open Pool Championship or the US Open Pool Championship – offering them the chance to experience elite-level Nineball up close. Tickets for Day 2 will be reserved exclusively for those still competing.
Please note, juniors will not be eligible to enter the corresponding main events due to scheduling conflicts.
